Ahupe Ghat Trek starts from
Khopivali base Village. Ahupe is a village in Ambegaon taluka of Pune District in the state of
Maharashtra (India).
Route is from Khopivali to Ahupe, Ahupe village is very beautiful and scenic during Monsoons.There are many waterfalls during rainy season.In the Jungle while trekking you will find many varieties Flora and Fauna
Best time to Visit: June to Feb (Best during Monsoon & Winters)
Trek time: 3- 4 hrs trek time to climb to the top.You can explore Ahupe village.
There is a very big waterfall known as Ahupe Waterfall
By Car / Bike from Mumbai
Mumbai -------- Thane (Eastern Express Highway) --------- Kalyan / Highway Junction ----- Cross Kalyan ------ Ulhas Nagar ---- Murbad ------ Mahasa------ Khopivali Village.
If you are coming via Pune by your own Car / Bike then you can drive upto Khopivali Village and Start the trekk
To reach Khopivali Village in Pune District, Maharashtra, from Pune City by road, you can follow these directions:
1. Start from Pune City: Khopivali Village is situated in Pune District, so you'll begin your journey from Pune City.
2. Take the Pune-Satara Highway (NH48): From Pune City, head towards the Pune-Satara Highway (NH48). This highway connects Pune to Satara and further to southern Maharashtra and Karnataka.
3. Continue on NH48: Once you're on NH48, continue driving towards Satara. You'll pass through areas like Katraj and Pune outskirts.
4. Pass through Katraj: As you leave Pune city limits, you'll pass through the Katraj area. Stay on NH48 and continue towards Satara.
5. Continue towards Khed Shivapur: After passing Katraj, you'll encounter areas like Khed Shivapur. Stay on NH48 and keep following the signs for Satara.
6. Pass through Saswad: You'll pass through Saswad, which is another landmark on NH48. Continue on the highway.
7. Keep Driving on NH48: Continue driving on NH48 towards Satara. Khopivali Village is approximately 80-90 kilometers from Pune City, so you'll still be on the highway for a while.
8. Look for Signboards: Once you're close to Khopivali Village, keep an eye out for signboards or directions indicating the way to the village. These might be in the form of smaller roads branching off from NH48.
9. Use GPS or Ask Locals: If you have access to GPS navigation, you can input Khopivali Village as your destination for precise directions. Alternatively, you can ask locals for guidance once you're in the vicinity.

By Train: Nearest Railway Station is Kalyan
By Bus: There are ST bus from Kalyan to Murbad ( 30 - 40 Rs ) , From Murbad .Sharing Tumtums are available to base village Khopivali where the Trekk starts via Mhasa village . Route is from Kalyan to Murbad from Murbad to Mhasa village and Mhasa village to Khopivali Village.
From Ahupe village walk down to Dehri village, from Dehri village you will get ST buses to Murbad then to Kalyan Station
Food: Carry your own packed food or else food can be provided by the Ahupe Villagers on request.
Accommodation: You can stay in Ahupe Village by requesting the Villagers or Stay in Kalyan or Stay in Camping tent in Ahupe village
